Full Time Public Defender

The Jackson County Public Defenders Office is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Public Defender position.

Applicant must be a law school graduate and licensed to practice law in Illinois. Previous professional experience in criminal law is desired. A successful applicant must have acceptable communication and organizational skills. This is a felony level position in a high volume office. Salary range is $85000-$100000 per year with medical dental and IMRF benefits offered through Jackson County.
