Full-time Dispatcher

The Jo Daviess County Transit Department has a full-time employment opportunity available. This position at Jo Daviess County Transit involves a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to scheduling route and vehicle assignments passenger requests handling numerous clerical and administrative duties taking requests from the public via phone calls driving Jo Daviess County Transit vehicles on assigned routes providing general public transportation services as needed monitoring trips through software assisting with daily operations applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and making decisions that require immediate attention/action. Applicant must have good computer skills be able to multitask be professional and courteous and possess excellent communication skills.

This non-exempt position starts at $19.34/hour and comes with a full compensation package including health insurance optional dental insurance IMRF retirement 15 paid holidays vacation and sick leave.
