As we continue to grow were excited to add a Veterinary Receptionist (Client Service Representative) to our team.
Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for our clients the Veterinary Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for both pets and their owners. This position is ideal for someone who is organized personable dependable and comfortable multitasking in a busy veterinary environment.
Some of the responsibilities youll own:
- Provide friendly high-quality customer service to clients and patients
- Process invoices and payments accurately
- Answer phones schedule appointments and obtain necessary medical histories
- Determine patient immunization and testing status
- Communicate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians regarding patient arrivals and recommended treatments
- Fill prescriptions food requests and over-the-counter products as directed by a veterinarian
- Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information in veterinary practice software
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to keep patient flow moving efficiently
- Take on additional responsibilities as hospital policies procedures and needs evolve
What were looking for:
- Veterinary reception or veterinary client service experience preferred
- AVImark experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Team-oriented approach and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy or stressful environment
- Weekend availability as needed
- Ability to lift 3050 pounds
