The Wallet u0026 Payments Engineering Web team is seeking a skilled passionate full-stack engineer to help build and maintain WPC web properties. This small agile team creates beautiful intuitive high-performance web applications that support users around the globe. In this role you will contribute directly to developing and maintaining features on WPC-related web properties collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Server Native Design and QA. You will write clean efficient and well-documented code while taking ownership of tasks from inception to delivery. You will rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Architect and ship full-stack features across WPC web properties owning the work from technical design through production releasenBuild and evolve BFF services that bridge server APIs and high-performance Vue frontend experiencesnDrive code quality standards by writing efficient well-documented and thoroughly tested TypeScript across the stacknLead milestone-based delivery on ambiguous workstreams translating open-ended requirements into scoped executable plansnStrengthen web security posture by applying cryptographic best practices and hardening the frontend against emerging threat vectors
3 years delivering production-grade customer-facing web software with measurable quality and performance outcomesn2 years building BFF layers that serve complex web UIs at scalenAdvanced proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks specifically Vue applied in production environmentsnDemonstrated ability to drive ambiguous deliverables independently with accountability at milestones rather than requiring step-by-step directionnSolid grounding in CS fundamentals algorithms data structures system design applied to real architectural decisionsnWorking knowledge of web security principles and cryptographic concepts as they apply to frontend and API design
Shipped production applications using SSR frameworks (e.g. Nuxt ) with Vite or Webpack as the build layernHands-on experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with frontend testing coverage via Cypress or PlaywrightnBuilt or contributed to a design system with documented accessibility standards meeting WCAG 2.1 AA or highernPrior work on iOS or hybrid mobile development giving you fluency in the native-to-web integration layernProduction experience with real-time web technologies WebSockets WebRTC or WebGL deployed at meaningful scale
