Full Stack Software Developer, Mid-level

The Full Stack Software Developer will design develop and maintain highly utilized cloud-native applications supporting situational awareness and collaboration capabilities. The role requires strong Java and JavaScript development skills experience with modern software development practices cloud technologies microservices architecture and secure software development.

The developer will contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and help maintain high standards of software quality security scalability and performance.

Software Development

• Design develop and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and JavaScript.
• Build and enhance situational awareness and collaboration capabilities for critical systems.
• Implement and work with microservices architecture in cloud environments.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from conception through deployment.
• Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
• Stay current with industry trends software development practices and cloud technologies.

Agile & Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.

• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or graduation from an accredited coding bootcamp.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
• Polygraph preferred.
• 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Security certification or willingness to obtain the certification.
• Strong knowledge of Java and JavaScript programming languages.
• Experience with software development best practices and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.

• Experience leading development teams in Agile environments.
• Track record of successfully delivering complex mission-critical applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes or other containerized environments.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Java Spring Boot.
• Understanding of microservice architecture.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• AWS developer experience.
• Knowledge of WebSockets.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Security certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
