Datawiz seeks Full Stack Software Developer for mid-August 2026 start.
Location: This is a local remote position in the metropolitan Washington DC area. There will be occasion when you are asked to perform some work onsite or to meet with other team members.
Mission
Your role will be full stack development for a trunk-based development model to commit frequent tested code maintain short-lived branches support feature flags participate in code reviews follow coding standards avoid known security vulnerabilities write automated tests support Section 508 document APIs and architecture decisions and participate in sprint reviews.
This position is on a new Task Order with client review of contingent hires
Education: Expertise matters. There is no degree requirement.
Core Responsibilities
Deliver J5 application development stack.
Build APIs UI and backend services.
Support agile sprint delivery and DevSecOps integration.
Experience: At least five years of experience in the below.
Required Expertise
Python FastAPI
ReactJS frontend
PostgreSQL/database design
AWS integration (containers APIs services)
Desired Expertise
Secure SDLC experience
Fed environment or compliance-driven dev
Successful Applicants
