Our client an IT Services and Consulting company is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer for their Jersey City NJ/Hybrid location.

- Responsible for making an impact by designing developing and delivering scalable enterprise applications using Java Spring Boot and technologies.
- Design develop and maintain full-stack enterprise applications using Java Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Build enhance and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices that support business-critical applications.
- Perform hands-on coding debugging testing code reviews and application performance optimization.
- Provide technical guidance to offshore development teams by resolving technical challenges and supporting successful delivery.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow best practices for code quality security testing and software development lifecycle processes.
- Contribute to AI chatbot and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) initiatives when applicable.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be a valued member of the application development team and work collaboratively with architects product owners business stakeholders and distributed delivery teams to build high-quality digital solutions.
- 8 years of experience in full stack application development with strong hands-on expertise in Java Spring Boot and enterprise application development.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java application development using Spring Boot.
- Proven experience developing full-stack applications with Redux JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience designing developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices debugging troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and code quality standards.
- Hands-on experience with Git CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Ability to analyze requirements design technical solutions and work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with onsite and offshore teams.
- Experience implementing AI Chatbots and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Exposure to Generative AI technologies and Large Language Model (LLM) integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Docker Kubernetes and containerized application deployments.
- Experience mentoring developers and leading technical discussions.
