Full Stack Engineer Java+ AWS

Update: This is more of Java and AWS job. Not looking for heavy UI React person. Looking for candidates with 12-15 years of experience and should have about 5 years of recent AWS experience.

Title: Full Stack Engineer Java AWS (12-15 years)
Client: Publicis Sapient - (Financial firm/Asset Management firm)
Rate: $60/hr. on W2 (Negotiable)
Visa : USC GC GC-EAD & H4-EAD (Must be within 50-60 miles)
Duration : 6 Months
Location: Onsite in Boston ( 4 days/week Onsite in Boston)

Interview Process: 1-2 internal video interviews & 1 client

• 12 15 years of Software Engineering experience
• Strong Java development experience (Top Requirement)
• 5 years of recent AWS experience (EC2 Lambda S3 RDS DynamoDB API Gateway etc.)
• Full-stack development experience with React (not a heavy UI role but React experience is required)
• Strong backend development experience with and/or Python
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Hands-on cloud-native application development and deployment on AWS
• SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
• CI/CD and modern deployment practices
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently

Industry Experience:

1. No expectations on industry experience but Asset Management or Financial Services is nice to have

Description:

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design build and support scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend this role youll work across the full development lifecycle-owning features end to end and collaborating closely with product design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Youre Impact

• Design and develop responsive user-facing applications using React
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using and Python
• Develop deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS
• Collaborate with product managers UX designers and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Write clean reusable and testable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance across the stack

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with React (hooks state management component-based architecture)
• Solid backend development experience with and/or Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2 Lambda S3 RDS DynamoDB API Gateway)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
• Experience with Git-based version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architectures
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (Jest React Testing Library)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments
