Per Mar Security is hiring for full-time University Campus Security Officer.
Schedule is 2nd shift hours 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Wednesday - Sunday. 40 hours-per-week at $18.00/hr
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor campus to prevent theft violence or infractions of rules.
- Respond to calls for service by students and staff.
- Thoroughly examine doors windows and gates to ensure proper function and security.
- Address issues regarding suspicious or criminal acts.
- Report any facility issues to the appropriate department.
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.
- Other duties as assigned by site supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug screen.
- A valid drivers license and driving record that meets company policy.
- Possess an IL PERC license or meet state requirements to obtain one.
- Ability to handle physical duties of the position.
- Strong attention to detail.
