HELP WANTED FULL-TIME MECHANIC

The Borough of Point pleasant Beach is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join the Department of Public Works to perform maintenance and repair of cars trucks and construction equipment. HOURS: 40 hours/week Position is salaried. STARTING SALARY $70000.00 - $80000.00. REQUIREMENTS: 1yr training and 2yrs experience (or 3yrs experience total) valid NJ Drivers License (CDL Preferred) An Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification (Preferred). Full Time Position Monday thru Friday. Experience with Ford IDS FDRS Cummins Insite and Allison DOC also preferred. Previous public works experience is preferred but not required. Duties to include but are not limited to maintenance and repair of gas- and diesel-powered cars trucks and heavy equipment hydraulic systems electrical systems small engine repairs welding / fabrication and snow removal.
