Per Mar is hiring for a full-time college campus security officer. First shift with days off yet to be determined. 40 hours-per-week at $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid drivers license with a driving record that falls within company policy.
• Qualify to obtain a security license for the State of Iowa with no disqualifying criminal convictions. We will assist in this process.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle physical nature of the position. Must be able to walk long distances up and down stairs and be outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Weekend availability.
• Must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor campus property to prevent theft violence or infractions of rules. Warn violators of campus policies & regulations.
• Perform rounds examining doors windows and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Answer calls for service from faculty staff and students.
• Additional duties as assigned by the site supervisor.
