Job Summary
About the Role
Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced FSQA Manager to lead food safety quality assurance sanitation and regulatory compliance programs within a food processing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong food manufacturing experience leadership skills and expertise in HACCP and USDA-regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the FSQA department and develop high-performing team members.
- Manage HACCP Food Safety Plans GMPs SSOPs and Environmental Monitoring Programs.
- Lead food safety investigations CAPA root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Oversee sanitation verification product hold/release and product quality compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with USDA-FSIS personnel.
- Lead internal customer third-party and regulatory audits including BRCGS.
- Ensure compliance with customer regulatory food safety and labeling requirements.
- Develop FSQA training programs and communicate quality and food safety trends.
- Partner with Production and other departments on process improvements and new products.
- Support facility start-up pre-operational sanitation and second-shift activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in food processing and quality management.
- Management or supervisory experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP GMPs SSOPs sanitation microbial hazards and food safety regulations.
- Experience leading diverse cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a food processing environment including cold temperatures and production areas.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Meat processing experience with USDA-regulated products.
- Experience with USDA-FSIS BRCGS M3 Redzone or TraceGains.
Additional Information
- On-site position in Valley Alabama
- Relocation assistance is not provided.
- Occasional travel and non-standard hours may be required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. climb stairs and work in temperatures below 32F.
