Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate chopper gun in a manner consistent with Safe Work Practices.
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner.
- Participate in the maintaining of a healthy Safety Culture at the facility.
- Follow instructions from operators and supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate labeling layout and marking of parts and completed products and subcomponents.
- Ensure safety cleanliness and equipment maintenance within the plant.
- Promote a culture of quality safety and teamwork on the production floor.
Job Duties
- Fabricate FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) pipe polygons and other accessories in accordance with quality standards.
- Operate a variety of tools and material handling equipment including grinders utility knives rotating molds and forklifts.
- Perform grinding smoothing patching and installation tasks for seams nozzles manways and other components.
- Support layout and fitting of shells and parts per drawings and specifications.
- Conduct measurements visual inspections and quality checks; report issues to appropriate personnel.
- Control inventory and storage of fiberglass materials rolls and sheets.
- Assist with part and product preparation for shipment.
- Perform minor tool and equipment maintenance cleaning tools and rollers regularly.
- Apply product markings stencils and labels according to specifications.
- Work in varying environmental conditions including high noise and temperature extremes.
- Lift/move materials and components as required (up to 50 lbs).
- Wear a respirator for extended periods (8 hours) as required by tasks.
Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Physically able to meet job demands including lifting standing and working in non-climate-controlled areas.
- Experience with fiberglass composites or layup techniques preferred.
- Must be dependable safety-conscious and able to work well in a team environment.

Pay Range:
- $24.18 - 29.16 per hour
