Job Summary

What you need to be successful:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree is preferred.

At least 2 years of manufacturing environment experience is required

At least 3 years proven success in a professional leadership role is preferred

Excellent oral and written communications skills detail oriented and data driven with a strong sense of urgency.

Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work multiple shifts.

Proficiency in Word Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of SAP is preferred

Experience and/or training in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma desired

Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) preferred

Machining experience is preferred

Mental
Performs highly complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge its application to a variety of situations as well as exercise of independent have the ability to analyze situations and respond to problems to ensure internal and external customer demands are met.

Physical
Assigned to a distribution environment. Must be able to assist direct reports. Uses computer terminal frequently. Interfaces with other managerial office and hourly employees on a regular basis with various forms of communication. Required to wear appropriate PPE (i.e. safety glasses).

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Armys Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program a next generation aircraft.

This position is onsite at the Rotors Service Center in Fort Worth Texas.

This position is 2nd Shift (3:00PM-12:00AM) Will have mandatory OT weekend shift (rotation typically every 4 weeks).

Rotors System Center Front Line Leader:

The Front-Line Leader is responsible for the overall execution and performance of an assigned area.

This includes but is not limited to the general assigning managing and directing of the daily manufacturing activities of up to 25 union covered employees within their assigned area to attain economy of operations maximize throughput and ensure profitable production of parts.

The Front-Line Leader will also be responsible for driving performance safety quality of work managing cost and managing employee relations.

What youll be doing as a Front-Line Leader:

Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.

Conduct disciplines of employees when necessary.

Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Utilize metrics driven accountability for performance: TAKT earned hours efficiency schedule overhead and overtime charges.

Achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions (such as Supply Chain Process Engineering Continuous Improvement Quality etc.).

Develop support and implement process improvements.

Evaluate business impact in regard to metrics activity reports delivery schedules manpower etc.

Demonstrate effective interpersonal leadership communication and organization skills.
