Our client a leading investment firm is seeking a Front-End Developer to join their team in New York NY!

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as .
• Contribute to full-stack development - Python/FastAPI/RPC protocol based microservices and endpoints.
• Build performant scalable reusable component libraries.
• Develop and optimize complex workflows and rich UI components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility responsiveness and optimal performance.
• Write clean reusable and maintainable code while adhering to best practices.
• Troubleshoot debug and enhance existing web applications.
• Work closely with designers backend engineers and product owners to deliver robust features.
• Own the full lifecycle of developmentfrom analysis and design to implementationusing Agile development practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 (or 5 with exceptional expertise) years of experience of full-stack or front-end development.
• Expert in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as (Vue 3).
• Deep knowledge of HTML CSS and responsive design principles.
• Strong understanding of browser internals rendering behavior and developer tooling (e.g. DevTools).
• Experience working with state management (Pinia preferred) and API-driven apps.
• Comfortable integrating with RESTful APIs GraphQL or custom RPC protocols.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript libraries ( D3 AG Grid etc.).
• Hands-on contributing to or building microservices using Python (FastAPI).
• Familiar with Git Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with geospatial front-end tools (Mapbox GL Leaflet ).
• Familiarity with institutional environmental social governance datasets such as MSCI ESG Ratings.
• Familiarity with asset-backed securities/finance data structure.
