The Ingram Micro Receptionist position is responsible for assisting the Security Professional in ensuring the safety and security of the facility and the attendees at the corporate office located in downtown Buffalo NY. The role would be onsite 5 days per week.

The purpose of this position is to perform front desk and administrative duties managing visitor access and responding to emergencies. The receptionist serves as an onsite safety and security resource to assist the security professional in all functions.

Report to the Director of Corporate Security

Your Role:

• Visitor Management: Greet and direct visitors verify identities issue visitor badges and maintain sign-in/sign-out logs to control access to the facility.

• Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points manage security systems (Badge Access CCTV Intrusion Etc.) and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.

• Surveillance Monitoring: Observe CCTV and other security systems to detect suspicious activity and report incidents promptly.

• Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact during emergencies alert leadership and coordinate emergency medical response or other safety procedures.

• Administrative Support: Perform clerical tasks such as data entry word processing and managing phone and email communications. Greeting visitors directing them to the right locations. Ensuring visitors are escorted in the building by an Ingram Micro associate. Interfacing with our landlord. Manage facilities concerns.

• Responsible for security and alarm access.

• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Ingram Micro Global security and safety polices and ensure compliance.

• Server as a member of the emergency response team (ERT). Required meet monthly to discuss related office safety and security measures / procedures and work with facilities leaders to schedule and conduct fire drills.

What you bring to the role:

• A High School Diploma OR equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• 3 years of experience in a corporate office environment within a security based role previous experience interfacing with executives.

• Managing accounts with access controls and CCTV experience.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidates primary work location pay grade and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors in addition to primary work location such as complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
