Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly professional and dependable Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure while assisting with front desk operations and supporting the overall success of the hotel.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people providing excellent customer service and being part of a professional hospitality team. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.

  • Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.

  • Process reservations room assignments payments and guest requests.

  • Answer telephone calls and respond to guest questions and inquiries.

  • Provide information about hotel services amenities local attractions restaurants and transportation.

  • Address guest concerns and complaints professionally and work to resolve issues promptly.

  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping maintenance and management regarding guest needs and room status.

  • Maintain accurate guest records and follow established hotel procedures.

  • Maintain a clean organized and professional front desk area.

  • Follow hotel policies and procedures related to safety security guest privacy and cash handling.

  • Assist with other hotel duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Provide consistently courteous and professional service while representing the hotel.

Qualifications
  • Previous hotel hospitality customer service or front desk experience is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Friendly professional and service-oriented personality.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging guest situations.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel reservation/front desk systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Scheduling may include mornings afternoons evenings weekends and holidays based on hotel operational needs.
