Position Summary
This onsite role supports FPGA design and verification for defense products at a Raytheon facility. The engineer will support development from requirements through integration and test.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and verify VHDL FPGA designs
- Support Xilinx Altera and Microsemi device families
- Design for high-speed serial RF/EO DSP controls data links and processor interfaces
- Work with systems and circuit card teams on requirements architecture modeling and implementation
- Perform simulation synthesis place-and-route and verification activities
- Support integration troubleshooting and test
Required Qualifications
- VHDL FPGA design experience
- Experience with simulation synthesis timing and place-and-route
- Experience with FPGA verification and hardware integration
- Experience working with digital hardware circuit cards or embedded interfaces
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Xilinx Altera and/or Microsemi experience
- High-speed serial RF DSP EO data link or processor interface experience
- Aerospace defense or complex hardware experience
