The FP&A teamis responsible forprovidingdata-driven insights to inform strategic financial and operational decision-making across the company.Wereseeking aSeniorFP&AAnalystto support our Corporate Financial Planning Team that partners closely with our Financial Leadership Team on initiativeslike long-range strategic planning annualplanningand this high-impact roleyoullwork closely with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver analytical insights support business planning and inform decision-making.
A day inthe life(Responsibilities)
Serve as a day-to-day finance partner to leaders and teams across the organization supporting investment headcount and resourcing decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Build andmaintainfinancial models across headcount salaries and benefits shared servicesvendorand cloud spend and translate them into clear actionable operational recommendations.
Deliver monthly and quarterly quantitative and qualitative analysis of PTC financial results including variances to plan ensuring key issues risks and business drivers are understood and highlighted.
Support the annual planning and long-range planning processes for PTC incorporating an understanding of business strategy products team structures and scaling needs.
Contribute tostrategic initiatives through a combination of business partnering analytical insight andproject management.
Proactivelyidentifytrends and areas of opportunitysurfacing insights that influence cross-functional strategic and operational decisions.
Collaborate across all levelsof the organization by buildingstrong cross-functionalrelationshipsanddevelopinganexpertiseof PTCs business model including unit economics product and market strategies competitive context and internal processes.
Whatyoullneed to thrive (Skills)
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
3-5 yearsof experience inStrategic Finance FP&A investment banking consulting or a similar analytical role
Ability to commute to the Boston office 2-3 days a week.
Comfortable working cross-functionally communicating complex financial information to non-finance audiences
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.Ability to distill complex analyses into structured outputs used by teams throughout the companytosizeopportunities and build business cases for pursuing new initiatives
Effective communication and project management skills; highly organizedindependent and self-motivated with ability to present to all levels of management
Ability tothink creatively and critically and thrive in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment
What will help you stand out (Nonessential Skills/Nice to Haves)
Public company Strategic Finance background
SaaS industry experience a plus
Working knowledge of Oracle and Zip
Working knowledge of SQL or experience with BI tools

PTC carefully considers a wide varietyof factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $88000 - 125000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidates skills qualifications experience and location. Additionally candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP) which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
