Foundation Development Officer

• Build and manage relationships with an active portfolio of donors and prospective supporters.
• Identify cultivate solicit and steward new and existing donors to achieve fundraising goals.
• Partner with Deaconess leaders physicians and community organizations to strengthen philanthropic engagement.
• Represent the Deaconess Foundation at community events and serve as a visible ambassador throughout the region.
• Support fundraising campaigns special events and employee giving initiatives.
• Collaborate with Foundation colleagues to develop donor engagement strategies and expand community outreach.
• Track donor activity fundraising progress and key performance metrics.
• Support fundraising efforts across multiple Deaconess hospitals and service areas.

• Bachelors degree in Business Communications Marketing Public Relations Nonprofit Management or a related field required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in fundraising foundation development donor relations nonprofit development sales business development or a related relationship-focused role.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with donor management or CRM systems is a plus.
