Forward Deployed Product Manager

Join a small high-impact team building AI-powered technology for state and local government. This broad product and operations role partners closely with company leadership to help shape strategy support growth and improve how public agencies work.

• Own cross-functional initiatives that help the business operate and scale efficiently.
• Work with company leadership on strategic priorities and fundraising-related activities.
• Support operational needs and help the founding team move quickly.
• Introduce AI tools and workflows across the business to build a lean AI-native organization.
• Contribute to technology solutions that make government more effective.

• At least 4 years of experience in product operations strategy consulting or a related generalist role.
• Experience at an early-stage venture-backed technology startup ideally from Seed through Series B.
• Familiarity with AI tools and enthusiasm for AI-native workflows including experience learning Claude Code.
• A bachelors degree from a highly selective U.S. university.
• Interest in using technology to improve the public sector with government experience or public-sector consulting experience valued.
• Experience outside large technology companies and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Base salary range: $130000 to $220000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

On-site in New York NY five days per week.
