Formulation Technician

Formulation Technician requires:

• Minimum of an Associates degree in Chemistry material science or a related science field
• Ability to gather understand and interpret chemical physical and mechanical data
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other team members in product development programs
• Formulation adhesive

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and test adhesive formulations in accordance with established guidelines working independently or in collaboration with chemists scientists and technical staff.
• Accurately document test data in laboratory information systems. Communicates basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcomes.
• Read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets (SDS) related to sample preparation formulating adhesives and sample testing.
• Employ basic problem-solving skills to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates.
• Maintain a clean organized laboratory environment and support safe work practices including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) adherence to site safety practices use of laboratory equipment 5S et
