Forklift Operator

AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Hurst facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to the receipt and/or shipment of materials supplies and products. You will be working primarily in the yard in an enclosed forklift/spotter truck. Must be able to work outside in multiple weather conditions. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive goods verify order inspect condition of goods
• Move product to and from storage production areas and loading dock via forklift
• Scale incoming & outgoing loads on truck scale 
• Upload photos and documents into our system
• Coordinate outgoing shipments with shipping and receiving personal
• Verify identifying information counts weights measurements etc. against BOLs invoices orders and/or other records
• Performs daily inspection of equipment
• Follows all necessary processes and procedures in AZZs truck driver policy
• Forklift experience preferred though not necessary
• Position will cross train to various other roles within production

Qualifications :

• 1 2 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of raw materials production process quality control and costs knowledge of hand tools and equipment is preferred.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Certified forklift operator is preferred

Minimum Education

• High School diploma or equivalent is helpful.
