Job Summary

Join our team as a skilled Forklift Operator to support warehouse distribution in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

We are seeking a Distribution Associate II with strong forklift operation skills to assist in warehouse distribution for a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products. This contract position offers a structured schedule and a competitive pay rate with opportunities to transition to full-time employment.


Job Details

  • LOCATION: Wilmington MA 01887
  • POSITION: Contract
  • PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
  • HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F


Responsibilities

  • Operate powered equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products under general supervision.
  • Receive goods verify items against shipment records and inspect their condition.
  • Gather verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
  • Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
  • Route materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
  • Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Forklift certification and experience required.
  • Steel toe boots required.
  • Successful completion of drug test and background check required.
  • Basic reading writing and numerical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
