Job Summary
MAXISIQ is seeking a Forensic Toolkit Lead Developer to lead the design and architecture of complex forensic software solutions supporting digital evidence processing at petabyte scale. This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining forensic domain development and compliance with legal and regulatory standards for evidence handling. This position is located on-site in Clarksburg West Virginia and is available immediately.
What Youll Do
Lead the design and architecture of complex forensic software solutions including cloud-deployed and distributed processing systems
Build and maintain forensic tools programming languages and thin client front-end technologies
Address the technical challenges of processing and analyzing petabytes of digital evidence from diverse sources
Apply forensic analysis techniques across file systems data recovery and evidence handling
Ensure tool development aligns with forensic standards protocols and legal/regulatory requirements for digital evidence handling
Lead multidisciplinary teams spanning software development cybersecurity and IT infrastructure
Set strategic direction for forensic toolkit development ensuring alignment with organizational mission and goals
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders including law enforcement officers analysts and government officials
Qualifications :
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Technical software development experience with a specialization in digital forensics and forensic tool development
Expert knowledge of forensic analysis techniques file systems data recovery and evidence handling best practices
Demonstrated experience leading the design and architecture of complex forensic software solutions
Experience addressing the challenges of processing and analyzing petabytes of digital evidence from various sources
Extensive experience delivering forensic software deployed in the commercial cloud and capable of distributed processing
Proficiency programming languages and thin client front-end technologies
Familiarity with forensic standards and protocols with the ability to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for digital evidence handling
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing projects spanning software development cybersecurity and IT infrastructure
Proven strategic planning ability with a demonstrated capacity to set a vision for forensic toolkit development and align it with organizational mission and goals
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences including law enforcement officers analysts and government officials
Relevant certifications related to technical architecture software development or forensics preferred
