Position: Forensic / Toxicological Chemist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65$75/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety labeled as benign dual-use or adversarial.
• Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard and judge correctness.
• Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
• Collaborate with experts to ensure models draw reliable lines between routine and dangerous queries.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Experience in controlled substance casework in a forensic laboratory.
• Background in clandestine laboratory response and precursor identification.
• Expertise in forensic toxicology postmortem or human performance casework.
• Experience in seized-drug and precursor trend monitoring or intelligence analysis.
• Strong technical writing published research or expert witness experience.
