Job Summary



For over seven decades investor-owned utilities municipalities cooperatives and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company Inc. (Elliot).

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution transmission substations lighting traffic signaling utility locating telecommunications and industrial/commercial services.

We are seeking well-qualified candidates for the position of Foreman Electrician based in Lexington Kentucky.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Foreman Electrician is to ensure safe and successful completion of all work assigned to the crew. Specifically the Foreman Electrician must:

  • Ensure all work is performed in the safest manner possible.
  • Plan and supervise all work assigned to the crew.
  • Coach and train crew members in the proper methods of performing the work.
  • Maintain the proper care of assigned Elliot equipment and tools.
  • Assume responsibility for the safety quality and professionalism of the crew.
  • Perform other duties as directed or required.

Qualifications

  • Kentucky Journeyman Electrician License
  • 5 Years of experience
  • Proficiency with commercial/industrial electrical systems NEC and NFPA 70E.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
