What Youll Be Doing

As a Foreman Carpenter youll be responsible for leading carpentry crews and executing retail construction projects from start to finish.

Typical scopes of work include:

• Millwork cabinetry fixture display and décor package installation
• Rough carpentry framing drywall and interior finish work
• Wall panels trim doors hardware and accessory installation
• Retail remodels tenant improvements and store refresh projects

In addition to performing carpentry work youll:

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of carpenters and assistant carpenters
• Plan work activities and sequence tasks to maintain production goals
• Read and interpret plans specifications and project schedules
• Perform layout and ensure installations meet project requirements
• Monitor workmanship and maintain high quality standards
• Coordinate with project management subcontractors vendors and store personnel
• Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain a safe jobsite
• Forecast material needs and communicate potential issues before they impact the schedule
• Train and mentor less experienced team members
• Help deliver projects on time and to customer expectations

What Were Looking For

• 7 years of commercial carpentry experience
• 3 years of experience leading crews or serving as a Lead Carpenter or Foreman
• Experience with retail commercial tenant improvement or remodel construction
• Strong skills in framing drywall finish carpentry fixture installation and millwork
• Ability to read blueprints drawings and specifications
• Proven ability to lead teams while maintaining productivity and quality
• Experience coordinating multiple trades in active construction environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
• Ability to travel and stay overnight as project schedules require
• Commitment to safety accountability and teamwork
