Rate: $26- $28/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Full-Time

Garden Gate Health Care Facility is looking to add a Food Service Manager to its this role youll lead the Dietary Department ensuring residents receive high-quality nutritious meals while maintaining compliance food safety and operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department including staffing scheduling budgeting and departmental performance
• Supervise meal production and service to ensure meals are nutritious appealing and served according to resident dietary needs
• Develop menus maintain standardized recipes manage inventory and monitor food and supply costs
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations OSHA requirements infection control practices and facility policies
• Educate mentor and support dietary staff while fostering a positive and engaging work environment
• Maintain equipment temperature logs safety records and departmental documentation
• Address resident concerns and grievances related to dietary services and ensure timely resolution
• Participate in facility surveys quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Provide leadership and direction during emergency situations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum education requirement: Completion of a Dietary Management Certificate Course; Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• Minimum experience requirement: 3 years of Food Service Management experience; 5 years preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations dietary operations inventory management and budgeting
• Strong leadership organizational and team development skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents families and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and resident-centered care
