Job Summary
Fred Enke Golf Course located in Tucson AZ is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Food and Beverage Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Provides daily management of the Front of House F&B Department
- Hires supervises and develops bartenders beverage cart drivers snack bar attendants and other employees in the Front of House F&B Department
- Conducts training and refresher classes for all Front of House F&B personnel in the correct procedures
- Provides daily oversight of Front of House F&B accounting procedures
- Manages forecasting and budgets pertaining to F&B operations
- Maintains cost controls and conducts a monthly inventory
- Implements and maintains F&B sales and marketing programs
- Develops and implements marketing programs to increase banquet business
- Manages alcohol and beverage ordering; follows the purchase order (PO) buying process
- Oversees quality assurance guest service and training of all employees
- Upholds Troon Food and Beverage policies
- Institutes and implements all Troon Human Resources guidelines
- Facilitates coordination between all departments
- Develops and implements creative strategies to increase revenues
- Plans and coordinates special events and functions
- Responsible for overall guest satisfaction
- Ensures all employees are conducting themselves in a professional manner
- Performs daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations
- Complies with applicable health alcoholic beverage fire and other local and state laws
- Oversees closing procedures and appropriate cash handling practices
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
- Must have one to three years of related experience in F&B management
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
- Must have food and beverage à la carte and banquet experience
- Must have strong business aptitude
- Must have strong service orientation
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly organized efficient and detail-oriented
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills
- Physical activity including long periods (68 hours) of standing walking bending and scooping
- The employee will regularly be required to reach with arms and hands
- The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Use of sight reading and wrist movement to serve meals and beverages operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
- Specific vision abilities include close distance color peripheral vision and depth perception
- Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
