Munich Airport NJLLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German airport operator Munich Airport. Munich Airport NJ LLC (MANJ)is responsible forthe operations maintenance and concession management and services at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Terminal A.
Wearecurrently looking for a Software and Data Analyst Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. This is an onsite paid internship position. Hours are flexible to accommodateyourclassschedule.
As a member of the MANJ team you will be part of a dynamic team helping to enhance travelers journeys by providing best-in-class airport services and elevating travel experiences beyond expectations.
The Software and Data Analyst Intern willassisttheFacilitiesMaintenance team developdetailedFacilitiesMaintenancePower BI dashboardsutilizedata from ourinfrastructure andcreateMaximoEnterprise Asset Management(EAM)processes. As well as dailysupportivework and engineering tasks.
Yourduties/responsibilities
- Under supervisionassistin the development ofPower BI Dashboardsforthe Facilities departmentreportingdata from Maximo and the airport systems student intern willrequestand receivesupportand guidancefrommanagementto complete assigned activities.
- Have an intermediate to advanced grasp of Operating Systems Data structures algorithms and at least one modern programming language such as Python JavaScript etc.
- Develop andoptimizeshared semantic models in Power BI usingsnowflakeschema design.
- Develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from ourMaximodatabase for use in Power BI.
- Design interactivePower BIdashboards and reports to present keyfacilitiesdepartmentmetrics.
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelors degree with an expected graduation between December 2027 July 2028.
- Pursuing a bachelors degree in any of the following areas:Computer ScienceInformation technology engineering data science advanced analytics clinical informatics or similar programwith a total GPA of 3.2or higher.
- Proficiencyin SQL for querying databases such as Microsoft SQL Server with database design principles is essential.
- Hands-on experience with Power BIfor creating insightful dashboards.
- Strong programming skills in Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks.
- Legally authorized to work in the US on afull-time permanent and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- A demonstrated ability to learnand employthe basics ofresearchdesignandapplicationwithin his or her discipline.
- Consistent detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.

The base salary range for this role is $21.50. You will learn a wealth of information about the aviation industry and airport operations while here and if this internship goes full-time additional benefits such as medical dental vision and 401(k) will be offered! Total compensation including base salary to be offered will depend on elements unique to each candidate including candidate experience skills education and other factors permitted by law.
