River Roast is seeking a motivated and service-focused Floor Supervisor to support daily restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing front-of-house staff ensuring service standards are met resolving guest concerns and maintaining a positive team-oriented environment.
- Supervise front-of-house team members during assigned shifts.
- Ensure excellent guest service and promptly address guest concerns.
- Monitor dining room operations to maintain efficient service and hospitality standards.
- Coach train and motivate team members to achieve performance expectations.
- Assist with employee onboarding and ongoing development.
- Collaborate with management and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support opening and closing procedures including completion of daily checklists.
- Maintain cleanliness organization and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor staffing needs and communicate operational issues to management.
- Foster a positive work environment built on teamwork accountability and professionalism.
- 1-3 years of restaurant hospitality or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
- Excellent guest service and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations preferred.
- Food Handler and BASSET certifications are a plus.
