Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fitter / Welder to join our fabrication team. You will be responsible for fitting assembling and welding metal components according to drawings specifications and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints fabrication drawings and work instructions
• Fit align and assemble structural metal components
• Perform MIG TIG and stick welding as required
• Measure cut and prepare materials for fabrication
• Operate welding machines grinders drills and other fabrication tools
• Inspect welds and assemblies for quality fit and accuracy
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain a safe and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and meet production schedules

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a fitter welder fabricator or similar role
• Experience with MIG TIG or stick welding
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Ability to use basic measuring tools
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and welding processes
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety
