Are you a certified fitness professional who loves helping older adults stay strong mobile and independent Summit Place Senior Campus a SilverCrest Community is looking for a Fitness Leader to run personal training and group classes for our residents both in the gym and in the pool.

Youll be the go-to wellness expert on our campus designing programs that help residents manage chronic conditions prevent falls recover strength and enjoy moving again. Youll see the results firsthand because youll work with the same people week after week.

What Youll Do

• Lead group fitness classes on land and in the water adapting every session for a range of abilities and health conditions (such as balance strength chair-based and water aerobics classes)
• Provide one-on-one personal training including fitness assessments and individualized plans
• Design programs for residents with arthritis joint replacements Parkinsons heart conditions and other special-population needs
• Track progress and adjust programs so residents can see and feel their improvement
• Coordinate with nursing therapy and life enrichment teams as appropriate

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree in Exercise Science Kinesiology Therapeutic Recreation or a related field preferred.
• Certifications such as ACE ACSM NASM AEA or Arthritis Foundation aquatic training are a plus
• Experience leading both personal training and group fitness on land and in water
• Experience with older adults or special populations strongly preferred
• Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days

Pay & Schedule

• $22$24/hour based on experience
• $3000 retention bonus: $1000 each at 6 12 and 18 months
• Two Full-time Day Positions:
  • TuesdaySaturday (shorter hours on Saturday); or
  • Monday-Friday
