Broadcoms ASIC Products Division is seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our embedded systems development this role you will architect design and implement low-level firmware modules middleware and diagnostic software for leading-edge PHY chipsets. You will work across the full development lifecycle collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive software design and development for new products while maintaining legacy systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system analog and digital hardware designers.

• Develop and troubleshoot complex firmware applications in embedded C/C.

• Provide leadership in architectural governance design patterns and code hygiene.

Requirements:

• BSEE required MSEE preferred

• 8 years of industry experience with a focus on digital communication systems high-speed SerDes or HBM protocols is highly preferred.

• Must possess strong coding and debugging experience in C/C.

• Must have experience with pre-silicon/RTL and SW co-simulation environment

• Hands-on experience with lab hardware platforms and silicon bring-up is highly desirable
