Job Summary
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Under immediate supervision of the fire department training staff participates in training for firefighting rescue operations auto extrication hazardous materials response medical emergencies and other emergency operations and duties as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
This is a recruit only position. Candidates will be involved in training as described above.

MINIMUM TRAINING & EXPERIENCEQualificationsJob Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must successfully complete a physical agility test. Must successfully pass a medical physical examination. Must pass a criminal background check. Must successfully pass testing for illegal drugs/ RequirementsMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid drivers license. Recruit candidates are required to successfully complete the 9 week recruit school curriculum in order to maintain employment.
