Fire Suppression Service Technician (union)

What you will do:

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites.

• Service troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL.

• Read and interpret blueprints diagrams submittals specifications software/systems programsschematicsand operational product manuals.

• Manage daily service call customer activity and program system products.

• You will work with clean agent systems dry chemical systems and special hazards.

How you will do it:

• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.

• Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.

• Inspect customer systems

• Use of Smart Phone and Equipment

• PC Skills including Microsoft Windows Excel Word and Outlook

PayRange: $25 - $27 hourly ratedeterminedby the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
