Fire Sprinkler Fitter (SFSFPID-6)

A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sprinkler professional who enjoys hands-on work takes pride in quality installations and wants to build a long-term career with a stable organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DETAIL:

• Install service and repair fire sprinkler systems including wet pipe dry pipe pre-action and deluge systems
  
• Read and interpret blueprints building plans and specifications
  
• Work closely with foremen project managers contractors and other trades on job sites
  
• Travel regionally to project locations including occasional overnight stays
  
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and OSHA regulations
  

• 3 years fire sprinkler fitter experience
  
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 70 pounds
  
• Completion of a sprinkler fitter apprenticeship program preferred
  
• Knowledge of NFPA standards OSHA regulations and fire/building codes
  
• State-specific sprinkler licensing or ability to obtain licensing preferred
  

• Hourly pay based on experience
