The Balco team focuses on Architectural Expansion Joints Moats and Portals Fire Barriers Stair Nosings Mats and Grids Trenches and Photoluminescent products to provide high-quality building solutions.

COMPANY WIDE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support and follow Balco Inc.s Quality Policy
• Follow all applicable Procedures and Work Instructions
• Initiate preventative and corrective actions for problems with product or processes
• Demonstrate company values
• Follow all safety rules and regulations as directed by Balco
• Any other assignments duties or responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor or Executive Management

Job Responsibilities:

• Support and follow Balco Inc.s Quality Policy.
• Follow all applicable Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Initiate preventative and corrective actions for problems with product or processes.
• Offer solutions for problems with product or processes.
• Follow all Balcos safety rules regulations brings concerns to leadership on unsafe conditions damages or processes that need attention.
• Train new employees in the Fire Barrier Department.
• Confirm the quality and accuracy of completed production work orders.
• Complete required production paperwork and return to the Production Office.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Any other assignments duties or responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and Executive Management.

Qualifications:

• Proficiently read tape measure down to 1/16 for production and verification processes.
• Safe and effective use of power tools and or machinery including saws drills nail guns spot welders and any other applicable machinery.
• Inspect and verify materials to meet standards/details and ensure it meets the needs of our customers.
• Participate in all necessary training functions for you position.
• Demonstrate the ability to push pull and lift 50 pounds properly to prevent injury to yourself and others without damaging material/product.
• Stand / walk for up to 10 hours daily while performing job requirements.
• Be able to frequently push pull squat bend and reach.
• Climb and descend stairs safely.
