AirLife is hiring 2 Finishers for the International Finishing Department at our Litchfield Park climate controlled facility. Hours will be Monday thru Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Finisher is responsible for ensuring the quality accuracy and load integrity of finished goods in the preparation of customer shipments. Facilitates the flow of inventory through consolidation palletizing and optimizing footprints for maximum utilization. As a Finisher in AirLifes warehouse you will work on the final stages of the production or distribution process.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The specific minimum competencies needed to perform the essential duties of the job include knowledge skills abilities level of education and experience necessary for successful performance. These competencies are generally demonstrated through specific service education or training.

Knowledge:

• Strong attention to detail and process adherence
• Standup forklift experience required preferably Linde equipment
• WMS and scan gun experience required

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Hands on leader typically not on forklifts daily working from the warehouse floor using a mobile workstation

• A Finisher in a warehouse typically works in the final stages of the production or distribution process. Their responsibilities may vary depending on the specific industry or warehouse setting but common duties include:

  These tasks ensure that products leave the warehouse in perfect condition and are ready for delivery to customers

• Product Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects ensuring they meet quality standards before packaging or shipping.

• Final Assembly: Completing any remaining assembly tasks such as attaching labels applying protective coatings or assembling components.

• Polishing and Cleaning: Cleaning or polishing products to ensure they are ready for shipment which might involve removing dust residue or marks from production.

• Packing and Labeling: Packaging finished goods according to specifications and attaching appropriate labels (e.g. shipping product info).

• Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining tools or machinery used in the finishing process.

• Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensuring that all work is completed following warehouse safety guidelines and using appropriate protective gear.

• Documentation and Reporting: Recording any defects repairs or adjustments made during the finishing process and ensuring that finished goods are accounted for.

• Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as quality control shipping or production to ensure a smooth workflow.

Level of Experience:

• 1 yrs. of experience operating stand-up forklifts preferably Linde.
• 1 yrs. of experience with business related activities within a distribution center including shipping customer service logistics.
• 1 yrs. of stand up forklift experience.

Level of Education:

Associates degree preferred

High School or equivalent required.

Travel:

0-10% as business requires
