Financial Manager

Odyssey Systems is recruiting for a Financial Manager supporting the Special Access Programs communities. This position will support DoD financial management budget formulation (building a budget) budget enactment budget execution and contract closeouts. The Odyssey team provides evolving programmatic financial engineering cybersecurity management and analytical solutions to the Special Programs Division Advanced Technology Branch. We augment the Branchs organic capabilities with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support. Personnel perform work that is an integral part of day-to-day operation across the portfolio to include both legacy and new capabilities.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Assist prepare and deliver documents in support of a variety of financial management activities to include but not limited to: Planning Programming Budgeting Executing (PPBE) Program Types and tracking data
• Knowledge of financial management and accounting functions processes and analytical methods and techniques to gather analyze evaluate and present information as required
• Maintain program budget and all other financial tracking documentation
• Able to perform budget forecasting tasks variance identification and analysis program or financial execution reporting and reviews
• Manage unliquidated obligations (ULO)
• Document preparation for Spring Execution Review (SER)
• Fiscal Year Closeout Assistance
• Manage & track unfunded requirements Ability to track expiring/cancelling funds

Minimum Required Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level Clearance (Investigation within the last 6 years)

Education: Bachelors Degree in a related field

Years of Experience: 10 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Masters Degree

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates relevant work experience specific skills and competencies geographic location education and certifications.
