- You will provide information about and interpret standard organizational budgetary accounting or financial administrative procedures practices and regulations.
- You will research guides to locate accounting budgetary and financial information and prepares summaries for use by managers.
- You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems.
- You will analyze forecast and interpret functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds.
- You will track and control funds for special programs.
- You will analyze or program work pertaining to payroll cash control or benefit systems.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 or 2 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012 Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26
FOR GS-11 GRADE LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying comprehensive financial management analysis and performance evaluations of budgetary transactions system outputs and complex manning data to resolve financial anomalies optimize fund utilization and ensure regulatory compliance within an organization.
FOR GS-09 GRADE LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the comprehensive financial management analysis and performance evaluations of budgetary transactions system outputs or complex manning data to resolve financial anomalies optimize fund utilization or ensure regulatory compliance within an organization.

In lieu of specialized experience you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience. FOR GS-11 GRADE LEVEL ONLY:
- Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; -OR-
- Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree; -OR-
- Successful completion of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled; OR-
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- Successful completion of a Masters or equivalent graduate degree; -OR-
- Successful completion of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; -OR-
- Successful completion of LL.B. or J.D. if related to the position being filled; -OR-
- A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
This announcement uses the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour including nights weekends and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
