Job Summary
A Finance Manager in an automotive dealership oversees the financial and insurance (F&I) portion of vehicle sales. They act as the link between customers lenders and the sales team ensuring deals are compliant profitable and efficiently funded.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Structuring & Compliance
- Structure deals according to lender and dealership guidelines.
- Ensure all transactions comply with federal state and local regulations.
- Prepare review and finalize all financial documents contracts titling and registration paperwork
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of customer information.
Financing & Lender Relations
- Submit credit applications and secure financing through a network of lenders.
- Analyze credit reports and determine eligibility and loan options.
- Maintain strong lender relationships and evaluate new lender programs.
Product Sale
- Present and sell F&I products such as extended warranties GAP insurance and credit insurance.
- Use menu selling processes to maximize product penetration and profitability.
