Finance & Accounting Advisory Manager

What you might expect:
- Integration with clients senior management to solve complex accounting issues and for preparation of proposed resolutions.
- Review of work prepared by consultants on operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e. acquisitions and divestitures stock offerings debt raises IPOs).
- Review of consultants deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements (i.e. 10Ks 10Qs S-1 and S-4 filings audit coordination).
- Research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards.
- Process improvement projects and implementation of changes.
- Lead and mentor consultants acting as a role model and providing creative solutions that enhance the consultants overall experience.
- Participate in the firms recruiting efforts client relationship building and business development efforts.
What you must have:
- 58 years of experience in public accounting accounting advisory consulting and/or corporate accounting/finance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte EY KPMG or PwC).
What sets you apart:
- Experience applying U.S. GAAP through financial statement preparation audit engagements month-end close financial reporting or technical accounting research.
- Experience leading engagement workstreams supervising staff and managing project timelines and deliverables.
- Experience reviewing work product providing guidance to junior team members and serving as a primary point of contact for clients.
- Experience applying accounting and financial reporting knowledge to solve complex business and accounting challenges.
Nice to have:
- CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification.
- Experience with SEC reporting and filings including Forms 10-K 10-Q and S-1 or public-company financial reporting environments.
- Experience performing technical accounting research preparing accounting memoranda and/or applying guidance in complex accounting areas including revenue recognition leases business combinations or stock-based compensation.
