How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

Operates fin press and related fabrication equipment to produce precision metal fins used in heat transfer assemblies. Responsible for setting up operating and monitoring fin press machines that stamp cut and form metal sheets to required specifications. Ensures proper material alignment die setup and press adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.

Safety

• Operate machinery according to specifications and safety standards
• Follow all safety rules and adhere to core value of business
• Maintain general work areas and/or equipment used in a clean and orderly condition
• Ensure proper and effective operation of machine and tools throughout entire process. Report repairs and/or issues to team lead or supervisor

Delivery

• Prepare set-up and adjust machinery per specifications to meet production schedules for on time delivery
• Measures work using rule gauges callipers and templates
• Ensure sufficient raw materials are in inventory to complete orders
• Utilize small tools such as grinders to remove scratches excess weld material and burrs
• Perform light maintenance on equipment machines and other devices used in the normal course of work performed
• Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision

Quality

• Confirm material sizes and parts match job tickets
• Ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects
• Accurately document work performed per defined procedure
• Self-monitor quality of own work and report to lead or supervisor unusual defective or operating difficulties
• Complete all tasks and work within designed quality guidelines

Culture

• Desire to do the right thing
• Team player helping other team members and departments as needed with other duties not routine to position
• Punctual on time ready to work designated shift every day

What we are looking for (Experience Knowledge Skills Abilities Education)

We each bring something to the table and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

• 1-3 years previous experience with fin press machine operations

Preferred Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Good attendance
• Tooling knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude
• Self-driven able to work independently and as a team
• Able to read/interpret instructions drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality working within precise limits and/or standards of accuracy
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
