Heres how a Field Technology Specialist (Construction) for PCL Construction Services Inc. within US Head Office contributes to our team:
- Promote the adoption of technolgy solutions at district jobsites including deployment ongoing support and training.
- Passionate about being engaged in adoption of new processes amd emerging technologies that enhance efficiencies.
- Actively seeks out issues problems and opportunities and creates solutions.
- Build working relationships with project and district teams.
- Provides implementation support on corporate and regional initiatives.
- District jobsite setup and maintenance for various technologies and infrastructure including remote support.
- Administers and monitors district office and construction site server resources and technology solutions to ensure optimal operation and responds to issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors or Associates degree in computer technology or a related discipline preferred.
- Two years Co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on proactive solutions.
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work.
- Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Basic understanding of Windows Operating Systems and networking standards.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. as part of regular job duties.
The estimated salary range for this role is $66000 - $85000 based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
