Field Service Technician Thermal Fluid Systems

Job Summary
Pay: $40/hr (hourly OT pay)
Schedule: Typically 40 hrs/week some weekends as needed
Location: Fully Remote **they will need to train for a couple weeks in Marietta GA in the beginning. Local preferred.

Thermal Fluid Systems experience this is NOT the same as boiler work. Boiler-only techs can be considered but they will need significant retraining so prior thermal fluid experience is preferred.

5 years field service on process heating equipment.

Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Understanding of heat transfer thermodynamics fluid dynamics (practical not academic).

Comfortable with travel including occasional international trips.

Able to work some weekends when needed.

Must have a valid drivers license.

Commission and start up new thermal fluid equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance on existing systems.

Conduct FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) before equipment ships.

Complete documentation after each job (service reports findings etc.).

Support spare parts sales when in the field or remote.

Travel to customer sites for service installation and troubleshooting.

Occasionally assist with training customers and new service staff.

Strong electrical mechanical hands-on ability.

Skilled with testing tools analyzers and field equipment.

Can independently troubleshoot complex heating systems.

Comfortable climbing ladders working around industrial equipment etc.

Clear English communication skills (reports customer interaction).

Ability to understand customer processes and how the system integrates.

Travel varies can reach up to 80% in heavy periods.

Must be able to get a passport for international service calls.

Most travel is domestic some to Latin America or Canada.

If there is weekend or OT work they are paid accordingly and its minimal.
