What Youll Do

• Install troubleshoot maintain and repair industrial automation systems

• Support PLCs HMIs SCADA robotics drives and control systems

• Respond to customer downtime and production issues (on-site and remote)

• Diagnose electrical mechanical and control system problems

• Read and interpret schematics wiring diagrams and technical documentation

• Provide technical support and customer training

• Build strong professional relationships with manufacturing customers

  This is a customer-facing Field Service Engineer role supporting industrial automation environments.

Minimum Qualifications Required

• Experience with a proven track record in Field Service Industrial Automation or Controls Engineering

• Minimum of 35 years of hands-on experience working with industrial automation systems in a field service manufacturing or systems integration environment

• Proven experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems

• Ability to travel to customer sites (local with some regional travel)

• Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience

• Systems integrator or engineering services background

• Experience with PLCs SCADA DCS robotics servos and VFDs

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Siemens and similar platforms

• Experience supporting live production environments

  This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a Field Service Engineer Automation

  Technician Controls Technician or Maintenance Technician working with:

• PLCs (Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Siemens ControlLogix PlantPAx)

• SCADA systems (Ignition FactoryTalk View Wonderware WinCC iFix)

• Industrial automation and systems integration

• Robotics (Fanuc ABB KUKA Universal Robots Yaskawa / Motoman)

• Drives servos and motion control

• DCS and industrial control systems
