Job Summary
Looking for a Controls Technician to program troubleshoot and modify PLCs and HMIs for a direct hire position. Previous experience as a Maintenance Controls Tech Controls Electrician Field Service Tech Controls Engineer is desired.
Responsibilities of the Controls Technician:
- Layout design build wire install program and troubleshoot electrical control panels junction boxes limit switches sensors motors (AC/DC) conduit and other electrical components.
- Commission new machines.
- Wire new machines and equipment with the latest electrical controls and components.
- Program troubleshoot and modify Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
- Integrate troubleshoot and modify automation systems.
Desired requirements of the Controls Technician:
- Experience programming troubleshooting and modifying PLCs and HMIs.
- Experience wiring machines.
- Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Familiar with electrical codes and standards.
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.
- Experience in programming robotics is a plus.
- Able to travel 45% of the time.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
Pay range:$90000 - $115000
