Hog Slat Inc. the worlds leading provider of parts equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking aFans/Bill of Materials (BOM) Supervisor with excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at ourClinton NCManufacturing location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hog Slat Inc. the worlds leading provider of parts equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking aFans/Bill of Materials (BOM) Supervisor with excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at ourClinton NCManufacturing location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Plan and direct daily production schedules assign workstations and track output goals.
- Record daily numbers and send updated report throughout the day and end of shift
- Ensure effective employee relations; provide employee coaching and development; resolve employee issues through problem resolution according to company policies
- Ensure workers follow safety rules wear protective gear and maintain adherence to company policies.
- Evaluate various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency
- Balance quality productivity cost safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve in all areas.
- Approve timecards or payroll hours manage shift logs and report performance metrics to operations managers
- Track Absenteeism
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
- Two years in a supervisory/management role required
- Three years working in a manufacturing environment required
- A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- An ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds daily
- Stable work history required
- Ability to understand and use our computer applications and data collection and recording
- Strong conflict resolution time management and hands-on knowledge ofLean Manufacturing
- Fluent in English and Spanish required
